Applications are invited for the appointment of two Guest Faculty in the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology to teach specialized subjects for M.A. Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology.

Position & Compensation Details

| Number of Positions | Two (02) Guest Faculty |
| Honorarium | Rs. 1,500/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs. 50,000/- per month as per Panjab University rules. |
| Undertaking | The candidate shall give an undertaking that he/she will not draw any fellowship/stipend or financial assistance from any agency while teaching as Guest Faculty. |
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree with 55% marks in Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology.
- Additional Criteria: Candidates must fulfill all other eligibility criteria as per UGC/P.U. regulations.
Submission Deadline & Guidelines
- Last Date for Submission: 04.08.2026 by 5:00 P.M.
- Submission Details: Complete application (hardcopy) along with attested copies of certificates must reach the office of the Chairperson, Department of AIHC & A, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
- Verification: Applicants must bring original certificates and other relevant documents along with a duly filled application form at the time of verification/interview.
- Note: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
