Anna University, Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Chennai has released admissions for the Academic Year 2026. The programmes are UGC-DEB and AICTE recognized and are offered under Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online modes.

ODL Eligibility Criteria

| MBA | (i) A Pass* in a recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration. (ii) A Clearance in the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) / TANCET 2026 (MBA) conducted by Anna University. |
| MCA (2 Years) | (i) A Pass* in BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent degree. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination. (ii) A clearance in the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) / TANCET 2026 (MCA) conducted by Anna University. |
| M.Sc. (CS) | (i) A Pass* in a recognised Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at Higher Secondary Level or at Graduation Level. No Entrance Test |
*The Bachelor’s Degree must have been obtained through 10+2+3/4 years pattern.

- Application Fee: Rs. 767/- (including GST) towards application fee.

- Last Date for Registration & Submission: 17-08-2026
- Date of Entrance Test (MBA, MCA): 23-08-2026
- Submission Guidelines: Applicants can fill in particulars through CDOE Website. The downloaded application along with a copy of relevant certificates should be submitted as a hard copy to: “THE DIRECTOR, CENTRE FOR DISTANCE AND ONLINE EDUCATION, ANNA UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI – 600025”.

2. MBA – Online Mode Programmes
Specializations Offered: 1. Business Analytics | 2. General Management
- Duration: 2 Years | Medium of Instruction: English
- Eligibility (Any Degree): Clearance in the Online Education Entrance Test (OEET). Candidates must have qualified the three years or four years Bachelor’s degree after passing 10+2 or equivalent under Indian board or (8+4/9+3) under foreign board.
- Registration Starts From: 17-07-2026
- Last Date for Submission: 17-08-2026
- Date of Entrance Test: 23-08-2026
- Application Process: Applicants can fill in particulars through Online portal, make the required payment for application and submit it on or before the last date.
