Minimum Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria
- For Professor Positions: Must hold an earned Doctoral degree in the relevant subject, including pertinent basic sciences. Candidates are required to possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant subject, out of which 8 years must be as a Scientist, Lecturer, Extension Specialist, or equivalent position, along with 2 years as an Associate Professor, Senior Scientist, or equivalent position. Strong evidence of active contribution to research, teaching, or extension education through published works and technological innovations is mandatory. The age limit is preferably below 60 years.
- For Associate Professor Positions: Must possess a Doctoral degree in the relevant subject or related basic sciences, complemented by at least 8 years of professional experience as a Scientist, Lecturer, Extension Specialist, or in an equivalent academic/research position. Documented contributions to research, teaching, and academic publications are required. The age limit is preferably below 50 years.
- For Veterinary Sciences Disciplines: Candidates must possess a recognized veterinary qualification listed in the first and second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, and maintain active registration with a State Veterinary Council or the Veterinary Council of India.
