Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (YSP UHF): Nauni – Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India, established in 1985, is the first Horticulture and Forestry University in Asia engaged in teaching, research and extension education in horticulture, forestry and allied sciences. Limited accommodation is available in the University Guest House on a first-come, first-served basis. Accommodation on payment basis can also be booked in hotels in and around Solan city (hotel room tariffs range between INR 1,500 – 7,500/- on twin sharing basis). Dormitory accommodation is available on request as per availability. Solan experiences late-winter conditions during this period, with daytime temperatures ranging from 18°C to 22°C and cooler mornings/evenings between 5°C to 10°C; participants are advised to carry appropriate winter wear.
