Navigation of Statistical Sciences, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Sustainable Ecosystem (NAVSTAT-2027)
About the Conference
The 29th Annual Conference of the Society of Statistics, Computer and Applications (SSCA) on “Navigation of Statistical Sciences, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Sustainable Ecosystem” (NAVSTAT-2027) is a comprehensive three-day event, aiming at providing an international forum for statisticians, data scientists, agricultural researchers, financial analysts, and interdisciplinary experts to discuss recent developments in statistical sciences and their integration with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for understanding and managing complex hill ecosystem data. The focus is on the fusion of statistical inference, Bayesian methods, multivariate analysis, stochastic processes, non-parametric techniques, financial statistics, econometric analysis and time series modelling with intelligent computational approaches for analyzing quantitative and qualitative data arising from agriculture, climate, public health, food, nutrition systems, and socio-economic domains.
About the Host Institute & Department
Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (YSP UHF): Nauni – Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India, established in 1985, is the first Horticulture and Forestry University in Asia engaged in teaching, research and extension education in horticulture, forestry and allied sciences. The university has played a key role in making Himachal ‘The Apple State of India’ by providing quality planting material and advanced technologies.
Department of Basic Sciences: Comprises five major disciplines: Microbiology, Statistics, Plant Physiology, Biochemistry, and English. YSPUHF is the only university in Himachal Pradesh offering post-graduate degree programmes in (Agri) Statistics, M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes in (Agri) Microbiology, (Agri) Plant Physiology, and (Agri) Biochemistry.
