Positions & Department Overview

Applications are invited for Two Guest Faculty positions in the School of Engineering for the Monsoon Semester 2026 across the following centers:

  • Computer Science and Engineering: Focus areas include Theoretical Computer Science, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Database, Parallel & Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, Software Systems, and Artificial Intelligence. (Essential: M.Tech./M.E. in relevant CSE fields; Desirable: Ph.D. in CSE).
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering: Focus areas include Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, VLSI, Photonics, Control Systems, Power Systems, RF and Microwave Engineering, Signal Processing, etc. (Essential: B.Tech./B.E. and M.Tech./M.E. in relevant ECE fields; Desirable: Ph.D. in ECE).

Remuneration

Honorarium for Guest Faculty will be Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Essential Qualifications & Eligibility

  • Master’s Degree: Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied discipline from an Indian or accredited foreign university.
  • NET/Ph.D. Requirement: Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or equivalent, OR awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations.
  • Relaxations: A 5% relaxation of marks is applicable for Master’s/Bachelor’s levels for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) as per government norms.
