Location of Position: AIIMS, Jodhpur

Duration of Post: 09 months

Monthly Salary: Rs. 56,000 + 20% HRA / month (consolidated)

Age Limit: 35 years (Age relaxation as per Govt. rules)

Minimal Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees. PhD in Microbiology will be given preference.

Desirable Qualifications: PhD in Medical Microbiology, MSc in Microbiology. Microbiology lab experience preferably in the area of mycology.

Key Responsibilities: Perform fungal diagnostics including specimen handling & processing, fungal culture, slide culture, conventional PCR, and antifungal susceptibility testing by Micro-Broth dilution; field work involving case finding and data analysis across Rajasthan villages; training activities & coordination with ASHA/PHC healthcare personnel; routine data entry on ICMR Fungi Detect website & Fungi NTD Tracker App; active case enrolment in OPDs and wards.

Minimal Essential Qualifications: 12^th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT + Five Years’ Experience in relevant subject / field) OR Three Years Graduate degree in relevant subject / field + two years’ experience in relevant subject.

Desirable Qualifications: M.Sc. Microbiology with lab experience preferably in the area of medical mycology.

Key Responsibilities: Specimen processing for fungal culture; preparing slide culture, LPCB wet mount; antifungal susceptibility testing by microbroth dilution and conventional PCR; coordinate with ASHA and PHC staff for field work; routine data entry on ICMR Fungi Detect website & Fungi NTD Tracker App; active case enrolment in OPDs and wards.

• Reporting Time: Starts on 21^st August 2026 at 9:00 AM, closing time to report is 09:30 AM on the same day.
