Applications are invited for the post of ANRF Project Assistant under the ANRF-funded project on a purely contractual basis to work on the ANRF Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant project (Grant Ref. No.: ANRF/ECRG/2025/003777/LS), titled “Unraveling Functional Mechanisms of Bacterial Homologs of Eukaryotic Antiviral Immune Domains in Defense against Bacteriophages,” sanctioned to Dr. Rameshkumar Marimuthu Ragavan, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology, Central University of Rajasthan.

| Essential Qualification | B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or any other relevant branch of Life Sciences with at least 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized University, as per ANRF norms. |
| Desirable | M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or any other relevant branch of Life Sciences with hands-on research experience in handling bacterial cultures, molecular techniques, and bacteriophage isolation will be given preference. |
| Consolidated Salary | Rs. 27,000/- + HRA (per month) |

Information to Candidates
- The PI will have the right to use any screening criteria in case large numbers of applications are received. The committee also reserves the right not to select any candidate in case candidates are not found suitable for the applied post.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit and they will be informed only through email/Mobile for date of interview. Candidates should appear for the interview along with their original certificates for verification. The interview will be held in Department of Microbiology, Central University of Rajasthan.
- No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for attending the interview. Calling for an interview is not a guarantee of selection.
- The selected candidate is expected to join in-person at Central University of Rajasthan immediately upon getting appointment order. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- No communications will be entertained for being selected/ not selected for the advertised position.
