Young Professional-I & II Positions – National Mission on High Yielding Seeds (NMHYS)
About the Project
Applications are invited for one position each of Young Professional-II (YP-II) and Young Professional-I (YP-I) on a purely contractual basis under the National Mission on High Yielding Seeds (NMHYS) in Okra at the Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.
Positions & Emoluments Overview
- Young Professional-II (YP-II) [Project Code: 12-289]: 1 Post. Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- per month (Consolidated). Essential: Post-graduation degree in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology or other allied disciplines of Agricultural Sciences. Desirable: Work experience in vegetable breeding/molecular biology techniques along with proficiency in computer application skills and standard statistical packages.
- Young Professional-I (YP-I) [Project Code: 12-289 I]: 1 Post. Emoluments: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated). Essential: Graduation degree in Agricultural Science or Diploma in Agricultural Sciences/Engineering/Technology as per ICAR rule. Desirable: Working knowledge of computer and MS Office or hands-on experience in emasculation, pollination work, and vegetable crop management.
Age Limit & Eligibility
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on the date of interview. (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/Women and 3 years for OBC).
