Invitation & Overview
Institute of Biotechnology, SKUAST-J, Chatha invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for engagement as Guest Faculty on lecture basis for delivering lectures to UG/PG students during the Academic year 2026-27 in the following subjects/area:
Subject-wise Vacancies & Qualifications

| 1 | Genetic Engineering and Recombinant DNA Technology | Master Degree in Genetic Engineering / Recombinant DNA Technology / Biotechnology / Plant Molecular Biology with 55% marks. |
| 2 | French | M.A. (French)* at least 55% marks. *Diploma/certificate course in French from recognized University/ Institute shall also be considered. However, first preference will be given to the students having Master’s degree in French. |
| 3 | Economics | M.A. (Economics) at least 55% marks. |
Application Procedure & Guidelines
In this regard, the interested candidates may submit their Biodata addressing minimum qualification to Director, Institute of Biotechnology, SKUAST-J, Chatha up to 02-09-2026 by email (directoribt@skuastj.org) or registered post. The biodata must contain their brief educational credentials along with other information to support their candidature. The payment per lecture shall be made as per SKUAST-J rules for engagement of Guest faculty.
