About the Conference
The International Conference on Next-Generation Materials for Sustainable Energy & Circular Resource Recovery through Membrane Technologies (ICNGM 2026) aims to bring together experts, researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from India and abroad to promote scientific discussion, collaboration, and knowledge transfer in chemical engineering, wastewater treatment, membrane separation, and industrial applications. Keynote speakers from around the world will address both fundamental and industrial challenges related to environmental pollution control, prevention, waste minimization, and sustainable resource utilization.
About the Department of Chemical Engineering
Established in 1967, the Department of Chemical Engineering at NIT Tiruchirappalli is regarded as one of the premier centers for chemical engineering education and research in India. It is ranked among the top seven chemical engineering divisions in the country and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. The department is supported by highly qualified faculty members and state-of-the-art laboratories including Fluid Mechanics, Heat & Mass Transfer, Mechanical Operations, Reaction Engineering, Process Control, and Biotechnology.
