2. About the Position
The Department of Forensic Science (Formerly, Institute of Forensic Science & Criminology), Panjab University, Chandigarh, has invited applications for 01 Guest Faculty position to teach B.Sc. (Hons) for the Odd Semester of the academic year 2026-2027. Eligible candidates must submit their application forms along with self-attested documents to the department office before the deadline.
3. Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Forensic Science or any allied discipline with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Differently-abled/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Ph.D. holders prior to Sept 19, 1991) from a recognized university.
- Additional Requirements: Qualified NET (UGC/CSIR), SLET/SET, or awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations.
- Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. in Forensic Science or allied fields.
4. Remuneration / Honorarium
- Honorarium: Rs. 1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum upper limit of Rs. 50,000 per month.
