2. About the Course
The 10-Day Research Methodology Course (RMC) on “Data-Driven Research Methods in Social Sciences and Academic Research Integrity” is designed primarily for doctoral students, post-graduate, and post-doctoral scholars actively engaged in research within Social Sciences, Commerce, and Management. Sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, this workshop offers a complete skill-building journey from basic research design to advanced quantitative, qualitative, experimental, NLP, and machine learning techniques alongside publication ethics and research integrity.

Course Focus Areas:
- Research Foundations & Design: Literature review, theory development, systematic literature review, and bibliometric analysis.
- Quantitative & Qualitative Techniques: Measurement scale development, sampling, hypothesis testing, mixed-methods, mediation & moderation analysis.
- Advanced Analytics & Tools: Hands-on exposure to STATA, Smart PLS, NVivo/ATLAS.ti, Natural Language Processing, Sentiment Analysis, Time-Series, and Machine Learning.

- Q1: Who is eligible to apply for this ICSSR course?
Ans: Candidates enrolled in PG/PhD/PDF programs at UGC-recognized universities, colleges, Institutes of National Importance, or ICSSR research institutes are eligible to apply. Applications must be duly forwarded by their affiliating authority. - Q2: What is the intake capacity for the program?
Ans: A maximum of 30 participants will be shortlisted as per ICSSR guidelines (10 local, 10 within Punjab state, and 10 from the rest of India). - Q3: How do I submit my application?
Ans: Interested candidates can fill the online Google Form and upload a scanned PDF copy of the completed registration form duly signed by their supervisor and head of the institution. Selected participants must bring the original form on day one.
