1. Officer on Special Duty (OSD):
- Qualification: Serving or retired approved Principals of affiliated colleges of Punjab State Universities OR Serving/Retired Professors of Universities.
- Pay Scale: Fixed Pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month (or Last Pay drawn minus Pension for pensioners, whichever is lower).
- Tenure: Initially for 2 years on contract basis, extendable annually up to 70 years of age.
2. Assistant Professor (English & Punjabi):
- Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant/concerned subject from a recognized university along with clearing UGC-NET/SLET/SET or holding a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations.
- Pay Scale: Academic Level 10 with Entry Pay of Rs. 57,700/- as per 7th CPC.
