The Department of Microbial Technology, School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in conjunction with the Mycological Society of India (MSI), proudly hosts this national conference. The event serves as the 53rd Annual Meeting of the Mycological Society of India, bringing together leading academics, researchers, industrialists, and students to discuss cutting-edge innovations and applications of fungal diversity in agriculture, biotechnology, industrial processes, and the One Health framework.

- Fungal Diversity & Systematics: Taxonomic, ecological, phylogenetic, and genomic diversity of fungi as well as conservation strategies.
- Fungi for Sustainable Agriculture: Diagnosis of plant and animal pathogens, biological control agents, biopesticides, biofertilizers, nanoparticles, and carbon sequestration.
- Fungi for Biotechnological Applications: Production of industrial biomolecules, hydrolytic enzymes, primary and secondary metabolites, antimicrobial therapeutics, and anticancer drugs.
