1. Atmospheric & Oceanic Processes: Focuses on fundamental dynamics, observational studies, climate variability, coupled modeling, atmospheric boundary layer processes, and ocean-atmosphere interactions.
2. Extreme Weather Events & Natural Hazards: Covers mechanisms, early warning systems, numerical weather prediction, tropical cyclones, heatwaves, droughts, extreme rainfall events, and hazard risk reduction.
3. Pollution in a Changing Climate: Explores atmospheric chemistry, aerosol-cloud interactions, urban air quality, particulate matter, regional environmental degradation, and ecosystem feedback mechanisms.
4. Mitigation, Adaptation & Climate Policies: Examines actionable climate policies, sustainable development goals, adaptation pathways, carbon management, socio-economic impact assessments, and climate resilience frameworks.
