3. Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Eligible Cadres: Lecturers / Assistant Professors in Economics working in UGC-recognized Indian Universities, Deemed Universities, Colleges, Institutes of National Importance, or ICSSR Research Institutes.
Forwarding Requirement: Applications must be duly forwarded by the parent institution/head of institute.
Travel Allowance: No TA/DA or reimbursement for local conveyance will be provided.

Econometric Foundation: Review of regression analysis, model specification, estimation, and diagnostics.
Time-Series Econometrics: Stationarity, stochastic processes, unit roots, and spurious regression.
Stationarity Testing: Practical applications of ADF, PP, and KPSS tests.
Cointegration & Causality: Johansen cointegration test, Granger causality analysis, and ARIMA models.
Panel Models: Pooled OLS, Fixed Effects, and Random Effects models.
Hands-on Sessions: Empirical software training using EViews, Stata, or R for data management and estimation.
