Project Details
Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a sanctioned research project funded by DBT, New Delhi entitled “Systemic exploration of exosomal heterogeneity in PD stress conditions and developing strategy to modulate/inhibit dopaminergic neuronal cell death and neuroinflammation”.
Fellowship: Fixed amount of ₹37,000 per month + HRA (18%)
Duration: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project (maximum 3 years).
Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential Qualification: First-class post-graduate degree in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Molecular & Human Genetics / Zoology / Animal Science / Life Sciences with a qualified NET / GATE or equivalent examination.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with hands-on experience in maintenance and differentiation of primary cell cultures, and expertise in fundamental techniques and functional assays of neurobiology, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques will be given preference.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 35 years for the general category. Relaxation of upper age limit is applicable by 3 years for OBC candidates, and by 5 years for SC/ST, physically handicapped, and female candidates, as per Government of India rules.
