About the Recruitment
Bangalore University has invited online applications from eligible candidates for temporary Full-Time and Part-Time Guest Faculty positions across various postgraduate departments at the Jnanabharathi Campus and P.G. Centre Ramanagara for the academic year 2026-27. The engagement is purely temporary and based on the existing departmental workload.
Remuneration Structure

| Part-Time Guest Faculty (without NET / SLET / Ph.D.) | Rs. 680/- per hour |
Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: NET / SLET / Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2018 (Regulation 3.10) and subsequent amendments.
- Educational Pattern: Must possess education in the 10+2+3+2 pattern.
- Exemption: Clearing NET/SLET/SET is not required for candidates in disciplines where NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

How to Apply & Submission Instructions
Eligible candidates must apply online through the official portal between August 5 and August 21, 2026. After successful online submission and payment of the processing fee, applicants must print the submitted application form and submit the hard copy along with relevant documents to the concerned department at Bangalore University (Jnanabharathi Campus) or PG Centre Ramanagara by August 24, 2026, 5:00 PM. Separate applications must be submitted for each department if applying to multiple departments.
