About the Institution & Vacancies
Nalanda University invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals for regular teaching positions (Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor) across its various schools and departments. Total vacancies announced: 19 posts.
- Professor: 04 Posts | Annual Salary Scale: USD 30,000 – 45,000
- Associate Professor: 06 Posts | Annual Salary Scale: USD 20,000 – 35,000
- Assistant Professor: 09 Posts | Annual Salary Scale: USD 15,000 – 25,000
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- General Requirement: A Ph.D. or post-doctoral research in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with a consistently good academic record and at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) at the Master’s level.
- Professor: 3 to 7 years of experience as an Associate Professor or equivalent, with substantive experience in guiding doctoral/post-doctoral research and a strong publication record.
- Associate Professor: 3 to 5 years of teaching and research experience at the national/international level, with experience in guiding doctoral research and peer-reviewed publications.
- Assistant Professor: Good academic record with relevant publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Application Fee
- Fee Amount: Rs. 500/- per post (Non-refundable). A separate application form and fee payment are required for each post applied for.
- Payment Method: Direct bank transfer/deposit to Nalanda University’s designated bank account. The UTR/Transaction Reference Number must be provided in the application form.
