Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Government Institute of Technology, Tanakpur has announced a walk-in interview for the requirement of Guest Faculty on a lecture basis for the Academic Year 2026–27. Remuneration will be paid at ₹1,500/- per hour/lecture up to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month.
- Computer Science and Engineering: 6 Positions
- Mechanical Engineering: 2 Positions
- Applied Science & Humanities (Mathematics): 1 Position
- Applied Science & Humanities (Electrical Engg.): 1 Position
Eligibility Criteria
- For Engineering and Technology (AICTE Norms): B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.
- For Science and Humanities – Mathematics (UGC Norms): Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant subject from an Indian University or accredited foreign university, along with NET/CSIR/SLET/SET qualification or a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations.

- Date of Interview: August 30, 2026
- Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM (Interview starts at 10:00 AM onwards)
- Venue: Board Room of Institute, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Government Institute of Technology, Aambagh, Tanakpur, Champawat, Uttarakhand.
Instructions for Candidates
- Participants must bring original documents and one set of photocopies to verify education qualification, eligibility criteria, and experience.
- Presentation skills, technical knowledge, and teaching skills will be evaluated/assessed during the selection process. No TA/DA will be paid.
