About the Walk-In-Interview
Applications are invited for posts purely on a contractual basis in ICAR – Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR), Hyderabad – 500030 through a Walk-In-Interview on 5th August, 2026 at 10.30 AM. Eligible candidates should attend with a duly filled bio-data in the enclosed format (Annexure-I & II) along with self-attested copies of educational and experience documents.
Positions & Emoluments Overview
- Senior Project Associate – I (01 Post): Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA as per Govt of India/DST guidelines. Tenure till 31.03.2027 (Project ends by April 2028). Essential: Master’s Degree in Biochemistry (Plant Science) / Food Science and Technology / Food Technology / Food Science / Food Processing Technology / Food Chemistry / Food Science and Nutrition or equivalent with 4 years R&D experience, OR Doctoral Degree in the same disciplines. Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
- Project Associate – II (01 Post): Emoluments: (i) Rs. 35,000/- + HRA for CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualified scholars, (ii) Rs. 28,000/- + HRA for others. Tenure till 31.03.2027. Essential: Master’s Degree in Food Science and Technology / Food Science / Food Processing Technology / Food Chemistry / Food Science and Nutrition / Post-Harvest Technology or equivalent with 2 years R&D experience. Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
