Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) | Department: Chemical / Electrical Engineering / Material Science / Physics

Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the ANRF sponsored project at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.

Project Details

  • Project Title: “Developing Fabrication Process Flow to Create Fluorinated Pattern for Bandgap Opening in Graphene”
  • Principal Investigator (PI): Prof. Jeevesh Kumar
  • Co-PI: Prof. Jitendra Kumar
  • Tenure of Project: 3 years or till completion of project, whichever is earlier

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Must be GATE / UGC-NET qualified.
    • M.Tech / B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical Engineering OR M.Sc in Physical / Chemical / Material Science.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Expertise in semiconductor device physics, nanomaterials (particularly graphene and other 2D materials), along with strong scientific writing and presentation skills.

Salary & Fellowship

Duration Monthly Fellowship
First 2 Years ₹ 37,000/- per month
Third Year ₹ 42,000/- per month
