Walk-in Interview for Subject Expert
Eligible candidates are invited to appear in the Walk-in Interview for engagement of Subject Expert on a purely temporary and need-based basis for teaching in the M.Sc. Environmental Science (Self-Financed) Course, Department of Botany, University of Lucknow.
Essential Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Environmental Science from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Candidates possessing a Master’s Degree in allied Life Science subjects such as Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Environmental Biology, Ecology or allied disciplines may also be considered.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidate must have qualified UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/SET or an equivalent test accredited by the UGC.
Desirable Qualifications
- Candidates possessing a Ph.D. Degree awarded in accordance with the UGC Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
Note: A relaxation of 5% marks at the Master’s level shall be applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently Abled/EWS categories as per UGC/Government of Uttar Pradesh/University of Lucknow norms.
Date and Venue of Interview
The Walk-in Interview will be held on 03.08.2026 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Dean, Faculty of Science, University of Lucknow, Lucknow.
Candidates must bring:
- Passport-size photograph.
- Original certificates for verification.
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents.
Note: No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the interview.
