Panjab University, Chandigarh has invited candidates for a walk-in interview for appointment to Post Doctoral Fellowships under RUSA 2.0 in various thrust areas including Social Sciences and Applied Fields, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences (Life Sciences), Engineering Sciences, and Chemical Sciences.
- Position: Post Doctoral Fellow
- Funding Scheme: RUSA 2.0
- Monthly Fellowship: ₹1,00,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Duration: Initially up to September 30, 2026 (extendable based on performance and fund availability)
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must possess a doctorate degree (Submitted/Awarded) in the relevant subject with published research work to their credit.
- Age Limit: Upper age limit is 40 years, with relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates (5 years).
- Preference: Candidates having experience in the relevant research area/patent/industrial research experience will be given preference.
