Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- General Category: Minimum 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in graduation.
- SC / ST / PwD Category: Minimum 45% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in graduation (5% relaxation).
Seats, Fee & Structure
- Total Seats: 100 (Self-Finance) open for all.
- Tuition Fee: Rs. 1,05,000/- per semester.
- Application Fee: Demand Draft of Rs. 2,200/- drawn in favour of “The Comptroller, Dr. Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry”, payable at Nauni (Solan).

Walk-In Guidelines
- Eligible candidates must bring the duly filled-in application form (Annexure-I), self-attested copies of required documents, and the application fee Demand Draft on the day of the walk-in interview (September 3, 2026).

- 10th Certificate (for date of birth verification)
- 10+2 Certificate
- Graduation Degree (Provisional/Detailed Marks Certificate/Transcript)
- Character Certificate from the institution last attended
- Domicile Certificate
Preparation of Merit List
Admission will be strictly based on merit calculated using a composite score weightage:
- Bachelor’s Degree: 30% weightage
- Class XII: 30% weightage
- Class X: 40% weightage
- Total: 100%
