Admission to M.Tech.–Full Time (Self-Sponsored) Programme
Applications are invited for the Spot Round Admission to M.Tech. – Full Time (Self-Sponsored) Programme in Engineering, for the Academic Year 2026-2027 (Session August-2026). Eligibility Criteria, Selection Procedure, Reservation, and all other details are given in the advertisement.
How to Apply
- The link to fill the online application form can be accessed through Institute website www.nitj.ac.in.
- Please submit separate application forms, if applying for more than one programme.
- An Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) is required to be paid online.
- The candidates are required to apply online and there is no requirement to send the Hard Copy of the application form to the Institute.
- Application fee shall not be refunded in any case.

11.08.2026 (4.00 PM)
Important Note for Previous Applicants
Candidates who appeared and qualified in the Entrance Test held on 21.05.2026 in various departments during the Regular Round admissions may either:
- Retain the score/marks obtained in the Entrance Test conducted on 21.05.2026, OR
- Appear in the Entrance Test to be conducted on 17.08.2026 under the SPOT Round admissions.
Candidates can exercise their preferred option by entering their previous application number in the application form. Such candidates are required to register on the application portal using a different email ID and submit a fresh application for the SPOT Round admissions.
